Bespoke estimating and tendering

Every tender is different. Call us before we quote.

Estimating is not sold as a fixed online package. We first check the trade, drawings, schedules, measurement requirement, return date and the output your team needs.

Bespoke scope and fee · Documents checked first · No automatic buy-now price

Before we quote

  • Trade and tender value
  • Document and drawing volume
  • Measurement or checking required
  • Return date and format
  • Supplier enquiry requirements
Why a call comes first

A drawing pack is not a unit of work.

Two tenders with the same value can require completely different levels of measurement, enquiry, clarification and commercial review.

Scope

What trade package, design responsibility and work sections need pricing?

Information

Are drawings coordinated, schedules complete and revisions controlled?

Output

Do you need measurement, rate build-ups, supplier comparisons or a tender review?

Time

What is the return date, clarification window and internal sign-off point?

Bespoke service

We agree exactly what will be priced and returned.

After the call, we request the tender index and enough information to assess the workload. You receive a written scope, fee, assumptions and delivery date before estimating starts.

The scope may cover measurement, labour and material build-ups, supplier or subcontract enquiries, qualifications, exclusions, programme allowances, risk review and a commercial handover.

Working sequence

Call. Check. Quote. Then price.

This protects both sides from committing to an unrealistic fixed fee before the tender documents are understood.

Common questions

Bespoke estimating, made clear.

Can I buy estimating through a retainer button?

No. Call us first. If estimating is later included within a wider appointment, its scope and capacity will be written down separately.

Which trades can you price?

We assess the trade and tender documents before accepting the work. Specialist design and technical input remain with the relevant trade expert.

Can you review an estimate we prepared?

Yes. A focused tender review can be quoted separately around the estimate, documents and risks you want challenged.

Can you contact suppliers?

Yes, where that is part of the agreed bespoke scope and you provide the necessary authority and enquiry information.
